Professional Consulting
Simon Sheather has extensive consulting experience in the United States, Australia and the UK developing practical predictive models for big data.
Simon became the eighth dean of the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky in July 2018. He currently holds the Truist Endowed Chair in Data Analytics. Simon is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association.
Simon graduated with 1st Class Honours in mathematical statistics from the University of Melbourne, and earned his Ph.D. in statistics from La Trobe University. His academic career includes professorships at the University of New South Wales and Texas A&M University as well as visiting professorships at Pennsylvania State University and the Stern School of Business at New York University.
